@EleanorJayne Well, I'm not certain where Wallpad will draw the line on what they consider pornographic as opposed to erotica. I will have to test that if I post my violent erotica.

If you want to read me, you can access my Storywrite account as my webpage here or I can give you links here. This is a test to see if I can post links. It should take you to my Storywrite profile.

@EleanorJayne I have many pending projects and nearly everything can be improved. I've got some projects that are deeply stuck in the mud. I've got a two novels I started that are stuck now for a few years.

When I get an idea, I also often write those down and file them. I co-write and presently have co-writers waiting, but that's normal for me.

Sometimes, I'll drop things and work on an new or an old project that interests me at the time. I've got stories and songs in my files not posted or published.

I've also got several publishing projects that I and others are working.

When I find myself stuck or bored, I usualy work with something else. I have a mulititude of things I'll never finish, but I do finish something now and then*laugh*!

I write a lot of horror and crime stories. I also write violent erotica. Most of what I write is permitted at Storywrite, but some isn't permitted there, either. According to the 'Terms of Use' at Wattpad, some of my stuff would probably be restricted as porn.

@EleanorJayne I notice you have a story. Just one, so far?

I'm probably going to post something soon, but as I said; I'm spread thin.

Some of what I write doesn't seem acceptable here, but I write in many genres for ages seven to adult.

I currently post at Storywrite.com and have a lot of poetry and lyrics archived at Allposetry.com. I have adult story accounts at Dolcett Girls Forum and at Disturbing Things Forum. I have a audio account at ilike.com, but currently there are unrepaired problems with it. If I can find time, I may post some music videos at Youtube. I've posted some there for a friend, RobertAlvaFain. I'm active at SW, DGF, and DTF.

@EleanorJayne I've decided to look further into Wattpad. I really don't want to spread myself thinner, but some marketing may be wise.

I have a very active role at Storywrite as an encourager. Also between Storywrite and its sister site Allpoetry, I have a lot of stuff archived there.

As it stands in my life, I have far more to do than I can get done; so I do what I want, most of the time. The 'pursuit of happeness' rather than the 'worship of the dollar' is my goal.

How long have you been a member of Wattpad and what do you like about it?

          Andy

@TheOrangutan Encouraging members in the craft of writing is a part of Storywrite, but it's more focusing on friendliness and has many young members. On the other hand, my current publisher approached me at Storywrite.

I've started a publishing company and we have one project near finished and others on-going. Presently it's little better than a POD, except that we intend to market and we charge no up-front costs. I don't head up marketing*laugh*!

I'm discussing Wattpad with my publisher and of course, our marketing partner with my publishing company. We'll have to find out what Wattpad permits us to do.

@AndyStephenson - fair enough. May have to have a look at Storywrite, sounds interesting. This site really is about marketing yourself to get noticed as you've probably seen already. That said, it can come in handy and I've made a few useful contacts who've helped me with my work and suggested avenues to explore.
          Have fun =] Gav

@TheOrangutan I've been at Storywrite.com for four years and I'm pretty popular there. Wattpad appears it has more marketing potential, but I'm spread very thin as it is, also I don't like marketing. I'm uncertain how or what I'll find myself doing at Wattpad at this time.

As I said to EleanorJayne, my goal is primarily to have fun. I don't much care about anything else. If I become more involved at Wattpad, it would mean less time at other sites I currently enjoy.

TheOrangutan

Welcome to Wattpad. Always nice to see someone proclaiming themselves happy. =]
Sounds like you've got an interesting set-up there, please let me know when you post something up on here, I'd be interested to read anything you've done.
In the meantime, I'd value a professional's view on anything of mine you fancy reading if you have five minutes spare. Most of my works are short stories of varying genres so hopefully the perfect length for a cup of tea and a cake.
I hope that Wattpad serves you well as a vehicle for promoting your work. Cheers, Gav
