I just received some shocking news today. A young girl, not much younger than myself, was raped and murdered last night. While we were never friends, due to age gap, etc, I watched her and her younger siblings grow up, so this comes as a complete shock and I can only pray the police are able to catch this disgusting poor excuse of a human being. While it will not bring her back, I hope it would provide a beginning to healing for her family.
