I came out to my parents recently (as lesbian because I realized that I don’t even like guys, I was just calling myself bi because I was scared) and it went really well!!! I’m so happy because now I feel like I can finally be who I am and I don’t have to worry about being accepted anymore :D

I don’t know if anyone will read this or if anyone will care, but I needed to say this.
          
          I am bisexual. I have known this for a long time, but I didn’t really accept myself and come to terms with it until earlier this year. I really want to come out but I am scared. I feel like I am ready but I know that my family will never treat me the same. It will be so awkward after and I don’t think they will ever be able to fully accept me. I have spent so long hating myself for who I am and I am done. I am tired of sitting silently while my family has homophobic discussions. I am tired of not being able to be who I am or say what I want around other people. I have been silent so long that all I want to do is scream. All of my depression and anxiety and sleep disorders and eating disorders all stem from my sexuality and how I have to keep it hidden. I don’t want to do this anymore, but I don’t know what else to do.
          
          Lanna, I don’t think you read these, but if you do, surprise I guess? Please don’t tell mom and dad.

Guyssss Voltron season 8 comes out tomorrow and I’m so scared and excited but mostly sad because now it’s all going to be over :(

So my school has 4 unrelated shooting threats, one of which is supposed to take place tomorrow, yet all that the administration has done is investigate the student’s involved’s social media profiles and give us an assembly on the consequences of social media. I love feeling threatened and endangered in my school!
