Hey lol so it might be easier to start by explaining Alex. What I will tell you (if you’re okay with it), is something that will be the biggest spoiler you can possibly give about the book. So this is like a confirmation that that is what you want. If you don’t want the spoiler, I can explain it from a different point of view, that would give my perspective on why the characters are how they are without (hopefully) giving away the surprise.
