I hate seeing a good, interesting story go down the drain because of bad grammar and spelling mistakes. To all you aspiring writers out there, I commend you for taking the time and dedication to write. But please, proof-read and edit! Get a beta-reader if your grasp on the language isn't that good. I know many other readers who are majorly put off by an interesting fic that has too many grammatical errors and spelling mistakes.
 
That being said, I adore reading fics/fanfics of the Romance, Humour, Friendship, Fantasy and Adventure genre. I really dislike tragedies, angst and hurt/comfort fics. They make me cry too much. o.O

Remember, practice makes perfect! Writing a good story is all about planning, writing, proof-reading, re-writing, re-writing and editing. Don't give up if you lack reviews/faves. There are many people (myself guilty) that enjoy reading your works but don't review.
