I recently became mother (against my will may I say) of two little kittens, and it went like this:
I went over to my Gf house bc I missed her, we enter her room and sit on the floor because that's what we always do. Suddenly those two fluff balls come and my Gf says I'm the mother of them. I was like "what?" but got distracted by the kittens and forgot about it
Me: Finally having a short enough hair that I'm happy with and my that is still long enough that my mother approves
*Few days later*
Kid: talking to me because he thought I was a boy
Me: :)
*some time later*
Two kids:
Kid1: look it's a boy in a dress
Kid2: that's a girl
Kid1: HI BOY IN A DRESS!
Kid2: *whisper shouting* THAT'S A GIRL!!
My gender flued ass: *happy gender noises* :D
(sorry I'm just happy)
