To me, writing isn't a chore anymore, and I'm extremely grateful for this. It's become more of a coping mechanism for me, however and that's pretty much the main reason I haven't been working on Paz and my poem book. I only write when I'm feeling extremely inspired or feel like there is simply no other way I can relax. I'll still be working on Paz, and possibly be completely rewriting it from the ground up, but the updates (like they already are) will be few and far between for the time being.

So I've been thinking an awful lot about this and I think it's finally worth saying. So, here's to the kids who feel like they're genderqueer at first, and come out to their parents and friends and family, but then later feel like it isn't actually for them and go back to being cis because in the end that's what really makes them comfortable. Here's to the kids who have to undergo constant barrages of 'i told you so's and 'i knew it from the start' from not-so supportive family members and friends. Here's to the kids who were brave enough to come out to their parents, and were also brave enough to tell them that you were wrong. Because realizing that you have to tell everyone you want to be called your name and pronouns you were born with after finally getting it straight with everyone is twice as hard as coming out in the first place.

I can assure I've started working on it again, I guess I just hit the bump to end all bumps in the road, and I've finally gotten out of this colossal pot hole of hell and lack ofgrammatical strength
