And I felt like I needed to tell you that YOU ARE AMAZING. I love your story. Your writing is exquisite. Don’t doubt yourself on your writing or plot because we, your readers will support you. I'm pretty bummed to announce that this has been a hiatus. From around the time I published Twenty-Two, I've been struggling to find the time to write anything else and at this point I really have to focus on my work and let this be for a moment. Sorry to all who have been waiting ever so patiently without a proper reasoning, thank you so so so much for sticking it out with me! I promise the hiatus will end at the beginning of July, but I just have to push this story out of the way for a second so I can devote lots of time and good writing to City of Blood for you guys later. You guys warm my heart so much and I don't know what I'd do without your support, I can't thank you guys enough and if I can promise one thing, it will be the continuation of Garth's adventures in love and crime. See you guys on the other side.

I just finished reading chap 22. WOW. I feel like I know where this is going and correct me if I'm wrong ( I don't want to sound like a pretentious a--- hat) but if It is it's going to be EPIC! It will be no matter what happens. Honestly though I love this story you put so much effort into it, and people can really tell. Thank you for bringing Garth and the Shots to life I can't wait for more!!!
@AngryOperaMoustache sorry I've had no internet for ages just got it back! Yay :D. To be honest this is the first time I've commented on someone's work but I just fell in love with your writing. And when you said you were lost and stuck I had to say something, I love your writing and I'm certain that anyone who reads the Shots will love it to!!!! Sincerely A major fan.

This post is also super important, even more important than my other ones, but I don't really know if capitalising it makes a difference. So I'll say this: if you're looking forward to the continuation of City of Blood, then please consider reading!
So here's the issue: I'm stuck. I feel as though I'm losing my touch and that the chapters are gradually becoming more dull as I fail to put in enough action or tension, and thus some of you are losing interest. It's making me panic a little bit because I don't want to fail you guys! You've kept up with me this far, and I'm so grateful to you all for that. I don't want to let you guys down ... So I want your opinions!
If you're reading, please please PLEASE consider replying to this post with an idea of what you want to see next. I have too many ideas to sift around and I fear that if I don't put them in the correct order as to what will appeal to you guys the most, then the story may just crash.
They don't have to be specific! I just want to know what you guys might like to see in the future. Be it simply the words "more action" or something like "I would like to see more character development" or even "how about pushing a solid plot in there?" would be absolutely glorious. I just need to know how to continue the story - I'm working myself up and it's affecting my ability to write!
If you don't want to put a thought in and just want to see how the story turns out, that's perfectly understandable and I'm okay with that. I just want to write something that will continue to keep you guys interested.

@AngryOperaMoustache you could turn one of his close to be the gang or the boss and you could put the reader into confusion by you make the reader suspect to that one person then you drop the bom to something else
Oh my gosh, no, just that has helped me so much! It's really great to know that people are satisfied with what I've written, and to hear what really stands out to them. As for swapping POVs - I like where you're coming from and I do think it would add a nice touch to the story. The only difficulty would be deciding where to put it and when to put it out! I will try my best and see what I can do to incorporate that sort of idea. If, for some reason, the idea just won't work (0.01% chance it won't), then I'll find a different way to kinda blend the idea into the story anyways. Again, thank you so much for your opinions! They were greatly appreciated!!!
@AngryOperaMoustache I know that this probably won't help at all but, I think your writing is fine. The story is developing well and the characters have very unique personalities. There is one thing that I'd like to see. I'd like to see a couple chapters in the Shots POV or the person who is sending Garth the texts POV.

I've put up with myself long enough, thinking it was fine, but I can no longer stand it. My senses are just telling me it's bad and I'm ignoring them, but not anymore — time!
I'm no Stephen King. I can't write eighteen chapters following the span of three days. To me, for one, it doesn't sound logically correct or fascinating. I sometimes actually wonder if you guys are thinking, "really? So much action and character development in three days? Not exactly reasonable, Cosmos!"
So I will be undergoing some editing to change that, sometime soon. Hopefully I'll have Eighteen out by Saturday (really working for it!) and then I'll be absent for a week, but after that I'll be right on it. Eighteen will follow the current timeline, but will change after editing.
IF YOU DID NOT READ ALL THAT BECAUSE INFODUMPS ARE BORING: If you happen to be reading later on and find that "wait, three weeks later? I thought this was the next day!" I'm not making any mistakes, I'm simply changing the timeline to appear more appropriate.

Hey guys! Happy summer and happy Canada day! Seventeen is late, I know I know ... I'm working as fast as I can but I'm trying to make it the best in one shot (let's face it, I hate editing right after I write something) because this chapter is a /little/ exciting - for me, anyways - and a pretty big deal now that so many people are reading.
PS! WARNING! I will try to binge-write this summer because I'll have so much time on my hands, but in September I'm pretty sure (NOT OFFICIAL - just an almost-certain idea) I'm going to call a break in my writing so I can binge-edit. I never thought so many people would be reading my story, but now that there are I'll have to edit a lot and make it more ... professional? Hopefully you'll understand.
Well, that's about it for now. Seventeen is on its way!
