hey! i am new here and i just started writing my series....i would love if you show some support!                                                                                                                                                              
          Look, I don't even like soccer. I couldn't tell you the difference between a striker and a quarterback if my life depended on it (yes, I know quarterbacks don't play soccer, calm down). But somehow, I'm now the manager of my school's boys' soccer team. Cute? Fun? Absolutely not-unless you consider scrubbing mud off cleats and being bossed around by Tristan Alberth , the six-foot-tall human migraine they call "Captain," a party. Spoiler: I don't.
          
          Tristan? Oh, he thinks he's God's gift to the pitch. He calls me "glasses" like it's a personal attack, treats me like I'm just here to take attendance, and has this infuriating way of looking like a Calvin Klein ad while doing it. I'd love to say I hate him... but things are never that simple.
          
          Meanwhile, there's Ethan-the golden retriever boy of my dreams. Sweet, quiet, and actually nice to me for once. And sure, maybe I've got a tiny crush on him (read: epic, heart-fluttering, poetry-writing levels of crush). But with Tristan constantly messing with my head, things are getting as chaotic as a heated elocution final. Speaking of which-yeah, I win all of them. No big deal. Words are my thing. Boys? Not so much.
          
          Armed with sarcasm, snacks, my undefeated streak in every elocution ever, and a very confusing obsession with young David Beckham (don't ask-I'm as confused as you), I'm just trying to survive this soccer season without throwing a water bottle at Tristan's stupidly perfect face... or worse, catching feelings.
          
          Because let's be real-when it comes to love? I'm always ready for a debate.
