Transformers: Re-animated is probably my greatest shame since looking back on it, the story I had written reeks of bad fanfiction from 15 years ago (read the "postmortem" section, it's full of self-deprecation) a bygone relic from the state of the fandom at that time (such as a heavy focus on my techno-organic OCs as well as reeking of "the writer's barely disguised fetish" in some areas). I already felt ashamed of it, but Derrick J Wyatt's passing pushed me over the edge knowing that he would have probably hated it, especially since I mixed some of his original plans for season 4 with my own shitty fanfic ideas which was pretty disrespectful in hindsight hence why scrapping the whole thing out of respect for his creation felt like the right call to me. Am I being too harsh on myself?
