An updated version of Chapter 2 has finally been posted! It was a lot more of a hassle than it should have been, haha.

          It's been a while, hasn't it? I apologize for that.
          
          Well, I thank you all for your patience, especially since I haven't been the best at keeping you all updating on what I've been doing. I really appreciate it.
          
          If you haven't already seen, I've updated the bio and title, plan to make a new cover, and have published my final revamp of Chapter 1. I'm very happy with the end result and I think it's a huge improvement from before. To be honest, I've wanted to get back into writing for so long but having my classes online and spending a lot of time on my laptop made it difficult to get back into.
          
           As soon as the semester ended, I came back, and my fingers just couldn't keep up with my brain. I had so many ideas that were flowing out with ease. I stayed up until about midnight just because it felt so good to write again with new ideas in mind.
          
          Also, I feel bad about never addressing this, but thank you all so much for 89+K reads! I never imagined that when I first posted this for fun that I would ever get that many people to read this story! That's amazing!
          
          With that, I thank you all once again for everything. It really does mean a lot to me. I can't wait to through all the chapters again with a new/fresh mindset and finally work on giving this book an ending.

Don’t you just hate it when you get the motivation to write again, and literally the DAY you want to do so, your laptop decides to just peace out and perish on the spot, so now you have wait 3 months until you can get another one.

Just finished posting the updated version of the "Valentine's Special," leaving only two more chapters to be edited until the book is all updated. Isn't that so exciting!? I already have some new chapter idea's in mind, along with another surprise~! :) Have a good rest of day/night everyone, and stay safe!

The new and updated version of Chapter 12 has just been posted! Now to take a small break until I move onto editing the next chap. So close yet so far to editing every part!

IMPORTANT UPDATE: The official rewritten chapters 3-6 have been published (finally). If you don't want to read all of them, cool, but I did add quite a large plot change, along with some more personality additions to the reader. Okay, so I'm going to honest here. Rewriting chapter 3 has been REALLY hard for me to do, especially since it's a longer chapter. It's gotten to the point where I've started to avoid typing and have been slowly enjoying it less and less, and it shouldn't have to be like that. When I first finished reediting chapter 3, I was very proud of what I had accomplished and happy with changes I made, even when it came down to the smaller details.
          
          I know that one day I will be able to rewrite it and be proud of my work once more, but right now with the way things are heading, I can see that my new edit of chapter 3 is lazy and sloppy, and I refuse to keep going just so I can be done, post it, and move on. It's not fair to all you lovely readers and I would hate to disappoint you like that. So, here's what I plan on doing...
          
          Chapter 4 is done, but I can't post it until chapter 3 is finished or some things won't make any sense as I did add a major-ish change to chapter 3. I plan on starting and finishing the rewrite of chapter 5 to give my mind something new to focus on, then go back to chapter 3, and then finally post chapters 3, 4, and 5 all at once. 
          
          I'm really sorry as I know updates have been slow, but from here on out I plan to start being more vocal with the progress of this book and make announcements when chapters have been updated and published. Once again, thank you all for your support and patience.

Man, don't you just LOVE IT when your computer deletes about TWO CHAPTERS worth of stuff that was just about ready to be posted? Yeah, me too -_-
          
          So, yeah, that just happened. I'm already in process of retyping the deleted chapters, but I just wanted to let you all know since my updates were already slow enough. And with that, I would all like to thank you once again for your patience and support.
