You’ve been gone for ten days now. I miss you so much. I’m crushed by the thought of not sending you my completed novel. You inspired me and encouraged me to write from the day I was born. I hoped that my finished product would make you proud, but I will never know. I had all these plans, to finally get published and surprise you with an autographed copy. I was gonna write a heartfelt and witty letter on back cover. I imagined you chuckling as you read it, after finishing my very first novel.
It’s one of many dreams I had for us that can’t come true.
I almost gave up on my book. It’s hard to imagine finishing it without you to cheer me on.
I will finish it though.
And you’ll still get an autographed copy, complete with special back-cover-letter.
And I’m still gonna do my best to make you proud.
I just wish you could be here to see it...
