I really liked your story Dark Sky - Romance Short Stories especially the moment when Penelope cuts the rose’s head while confronting Xavier such a powerful symbol of love turning into pain. When you wrote that scene did you want readers to feel more of her strength in letting go or the sadness of everything breaking apart?
