I started a new collection, SURVIVE TO SWIM, which is going to be the place where I collect up any short Science Fiction pieces I produce over the next few months. Right now it has two drabbles (100 word short stories.) You can check it out here:

          	Otherwise I've been busy doing a lot of non-Wattpad writing and send out of stories and poems to various places. Have gotten a few nice rejections from different magazines, but hope to be able to announce some acceptances in the weeks to come in addition to my poems coming out in ORGANIC INK 2 at the end of the month.

          	Plan on doing a few of the AIM TO ENGAGE prompts as well over the next couple of weeks. For any interested, here is the address for that. I believe I have @sacredlilac to thank originally for making me aware of these prompts, so thank you, Amanda.

Just dropping by to leave some love on your profile! Haven’t heard from you in a long time. Are you still active? ❤️

            Hi, Andrea. Thank you very much for the note. I haven't been very active on Wattpad so far as writing goes in awhile. I've been instead placing flash fiction with small presses from time to time and unfortunately I'm finding that by and large they are considering published on Wattpad as Previously Published, so that is why I haven't been putting up stuff here.

            I do plan on putting together another chapbook for October similar to Thirty-One Days of Darkness this year though, so I plan on being fairly active for this October.

            I hope you are doing well and thank you again for the note.

I finished my book of dark poetry and micro-fiction, 31 DAYS OF DARKNESS with a poem entitled FAREWELL. (Seemed a good way to say adieu if hopefully not goodbye!)

          I wrote DARKNESS for the "30 Days of Spooky Tales" contest, which wrapped up a few days ago. Congratulations to the three overall winners:
          @steveopen
          @ShelleyBurbank
          @Kamiccola

           #adultfiction, who was one of the channels participating, let me know that one of my pieces did win one of the rounds, though they haven’t told me which one yet. They gave me a “Keen Writer” sticker to put on the cover of my book, which was … keen. :)

@halajardaly Hi Hala. Sure, I was planning on adding it to my reading list to check out. Of the stuff I have up, I'd suggest checking out either Days of Darkness, if dark micro-fiction and poetry is your thing or January Thaw, which is about a 5000 or so word short story that is a romance in a science fiction setting.

            Thank you for the follow and for stopping by.
