I have to confess. I believe I have spoken about this years ago here on Wattpad, but I still can't get over it. In the original book, The Senator's Son, what Emma did, letting Bianca go free from nearly killing her in the first book, I hated that. Even today, it still haunts me, especially when nothing happened to her in the second book. I was actually angry at Emma for that.
Perhaps that's why I prefer the stories, Behind Closed Doors and its remake, The Senator's Son, from the game app, Chapters: Interactive Stories. The fact that we have the option to expose Bianca and put an end to her bullying of Emma and even punish Jake is satisfying, unlike the original story. And even though I haven't properly watched it, I think the mini series of the story is different, but also satisfying and better than the original story.
I'm really sorry I had to say this. I just hate injustice, especially when letting criminals like Bianca go free. I wouldn't make that decision if I were in Emma's shoes. That's why I'm so happy with the choices we get to make in the stories shown in Chapters: Interactive Stories on what we want to do with Bianca and Jake.
Sometimes I do wonder what could have happened between Emma and Bianca that wasn't shown in the two original books. Like what if Bianca attacks Emma again, and this time, things get worse for her or even those around Emma who previously said she should turn Bianca in?
Anyway, once again, I am so happy with the game versions and the mini series more than the original books. Sorry again.
