Rainbow
Riding in a mini-bus, I’m on the window side
Resting my back as I close my eyes
Recalling all the things happened in my life
Reminiscence strikes my peaceful mind
A girl walking in a sea shore alone
At the middle of wild afternoon
A small wave almost touch her feet
A kiss in her skin of summer heat
I look away to a place of somewhere
It was her again, walking slowly, arms wide open
It’s raining, but she doesn’t care
It looks like she loves the raindrops in her skin
Night of shivers and fears, cold winds embrace her
No one can take away her eyes from the sky
Never ending shows of worlds wonder
Not lower than one-hundred-fifty falling stars
Bringing back the thought of a scene in a runway
Both girls and boys are running, some are walking away
But only one girl stood still, waits, and get amaze
By the walking light of sun rays
One silent night, in the dark she walked outside
On the sight of moving small pieces of light
Of numbers of fireflies, her fear sets aside
Observing, how they fly and what makes them bright.
With a smile on my face, I look up in the sky, I feel contented
Who I am, where I’ve been and what life brings to me, then I said,
While I’m watching that RAINBOW, “ I’m really lucky”
Why? “Because that girl in this story is no other than Me”
