          I wanted to thank everyone again for all the love and support they've given me in my writing journey. I've been inspired to continue, make new works, and become a better writer. 
          
          I'm sorry for the sporadic updates on my other books, I've been busy at university and spending time with my family. I plan on updating soon, I promise!!
          
          I just had a small favour to ask. I've recently made a booktok account as it's something I've wanted to start for a while now. I'd love for everyone to give me a follow. My goal is to get to 10k followers! Insane I know, but I felt like I'll be more motivated if I have a bigger goal. If enough people follow me, I will definitely reward everyone with more chapters!! (does this count as a bribe? probably x) AND I might even write some bonus chapters for Solienne...

Heyy, I just wanted to say I love your work and I know there are many more readers who would agree with me. I would say just ignore the rest, but I know how it feels when people doubt your originality. All I can say is that there are ones who believe in you, who love your work. There will always be haters, and the sting never reduces. But it helps to remember the others, and try redirecting energy and focus to them. I am always here to talk if you need someone :)

I’ve honestly been trying to ignore the comments saying my writing is AI, but I’d be lying if I said they haven’t started to get to me. I’m not sure when we collectively decided that Wattpad is suddenly published literature with zero drafting, editing, or external input allowed. I’ve been writing this book for years. I started it when I was fifteen. I’m also a full-time student. If I sometimes use AI to help with wording, check grammar, or refine a paragraph for impact, I genuinely don’t understand why that’s a problem. Writing has always been my therapy. I’m an English lit nerd, poetry runs in my family, and I’m constantly trying to improve my technique. Seeing people dismiss that by saying it “sounds like AI” is honestly disheartening, especially when most of these chapters lived on my laptop for years, written just for me. I don’t have the time to obsessively edit every chapter alone, and if getting a second set of eyes (human or digital) helps me cut unnecessary descriptions and actually upload work for people to enjoy, that feels like a fair trade. I’m not incompetent, and I’m not new to this. I just wanted to address the comments, not dramatize them, and then get back to writing. Sorry if this seemed excessive or defensive, but if people keep coming at your stories (which you started before AI fucking existed) without thinking that you maybe used it to HELP IMPROVE, then you'd understand.
