ALSO ALSO ALSO I am keeping all of my chapbooks, even the ones with more amateur poetry, because I've discovered that they are the best way to keep all my passing and more developed "thought babies" in one place. And I'm just really freaking proud of Vagary. Alright carry on peeeece

Hello everyone! I have recently gone through a little clean-up of my profile page to make it more professional/cute/less angsty-high-school-student-looking, and have also deleted many of my older poems that I felt were not up to snuff (except Nine Muses, a favorite!). I may still post occasionally on here, but I have decided to use this corner of Wattpad more as a portfolio and archive than a regular writing blog. Have a blessed day everyone!

Hello all, just recently updated with a new short story, "Saved by the Grind." I have decided to take a hiatus from poetry and plan to post more short stories in the future--thankfully I might have more time since my class schedule is less crammed! This story is dedicated to @ShannonKellie (sorry for keeping you waiting for so long!). Have a good new year everyone, and God bless!

Hello everyone! It's been a long time since I've posted anything (life's gotten busy!). I have bad news. When writing "To the Office of Mr. T. S. Eliot" in my poetry collection "Vagary," I made an unintentional breach of ethics. I wrote the poem as a tribute to 20th-century poet T.S. Eliot out of respect for his work and included a few quotes from some of his most famous poems, including "The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock." However, I did not cite these quotes, nor did I give credit to Eliot for these lines; as a result, I have unintentionally plagiarized his work. I am terribly sorry for this and took the poem down today. I did not mean to plagiarize T. S. Eliot's amazing poetry, and I will be extra cautious in the future to prevent this from happening again. I have let down my readers, and one of them thankfully called me out on it. Thank you for bringing it to my attention; I have taken the poem down. Sorry for the length of this message! Have a good day!

@ShannonKellie Thank you so much! I appreciate your feedback. I will definitely try to post more poetry this weekend if I can (three day weekend--hallelujah!).

@AnnaTanksley Anna, it was clear to me what your intent was. perhaps because I have read his poetry. It was obvious that you didn't mean to plagiarise. I look forward to reading more from you. good luck with the new school year

P. S. I don't know if it show that it's taken down yet or not. Sometimes it takes a while.

I don't get notifications ever, not for a long time. I don't know why wattpad doesn't send them anymore. And I almost missed your new poem here. If you ever have a piece you want me to read, please just let me know. I only found your new one because I came looking.

AnnaTanksley

@ShannonKellie That's too bad you haven't been getting notifications :( I will definitely let you know when I have new stuff up so that you will be able to read it when you can. Thank you, by the way, for your feedback on "Vagary" and "Haikus"!

Anna, you are one of the most amazing poets I have ever read here. Ever. Wow.

ShannonKellie

@ShannonKellie Well, I won't miss a single one of your poems from now on. And I'll come back when I have enough time to give the rest of your work a really good read. Honestly, after I read that most recent poem of yours, Futility, it hit me just how truly brilliant you are, though I already thought you were very, very good. I would say I count you among one of the best poets here in a very small group.

@ShannonKellie Thank you so much! Your feedback means the world to me, and I feel so blessed that you enjoyed reading my poems. To be honest, you are one of the reasons why I have kept writing and posting my poetry on here even on days when I didn't feel like it. Reading your poems have given me inspiration to write mine :D
