When life hands you a rough draft, revise, revise, revise!  

I rediscovered writing when I went through a particularly difficult time, and I have come to treasure the mini-vacations I get when I sit down in front of my computer.  

I write young adult fiction and some adult fiction.  I enjoy exploring paranormal, romance, and sic-fi.  Dogwood is actually a story I began as a prequel to another book I finished last year.   My editor, @stacyjuba, pointed out areas that needed more explanation, which prompted me to write about Kayla Medrano's earlier experiences.  

I'm continuously working to refine my craft between work and family.   If you spot errors or have constructive advice, please send a message or make a comment.  This is a learning process for me, and I value your feedback.
