I believe there is beauty in all things - even in the moments and places shaped by hardship.

Kentucky-born and now living in the Appalachian mountains, I have always been drawn to the stories found in the lives around me: the memories we carry, the people who shape us, the things we lose, and the experiences that quietly become part of who we are.

I believe home is not always a place. Sometimes, home is found in the people who make life feel like it was always meant to be exactly as it is. Where we begin does not define us; it is what we make of where life takes us that shapes who we become.

I would not change a single piece of my life - not even the difficult chapters - because every moment, every loss, every lesson, and every unexpected turn led me exactly where I was meant to be and shaped me into the person I am today.

I write across genres, following the stories that find me rather than fitting them into a single category. My stories explore the many sides of being human: love, loss, mystery, darkness, resilience, and the moments that change us forever.

I experience the world through a unique lens that shapes the way I notice details, understand people, and create stories. My life experiences have taught me to look for beauty in places others may overlook, and that belief finds its way into every story I tell.

When I'm not writing, I'm spending time with my family - my children and husband - simply enjoying this life we've built together. Sometimes that means quiet moments, sometimes it means writing from my favorite chair while he works nearby, but mostly it means appreciating the ordinary pieces of life that become the memories we hold onto. I also spend my time tending my flowers, working with herbs, creating handmade goods, and caring for my animals.

My hope is that every story I write leaves something behind with the reader - a feeling, a memory, or a reminder that even the hardest chapters can still hold something beautiful.
