What's the essence of letting people vote for a book in order to get to a certain round in an awards or a contest?

Honestly, I’ve wondered the same thing! I think it’s partly to boost engagement and visibility, but I don’t fully get how it all works either. It would be great to hear from someone who’s been through it or knows more.

@anotheramaya hiii I'm also finding my feet, but from what I know, you can promote on your social media. You can also tell your real-life friends about your book and politely ask them to check it out :) Read for read amongst authors works as well, though I don't do it anymore because I usually go all in and my partners don't. Maybe they're just not into my book, which is totally fine, so yeah. But it might work for you :) You can enter awards hosted on wattpad, submit your books to be featured in various ambassadors' reading lists, and enter review shops to boost your visibility. And try your best to engage with your readers in your comments sections :) I hope this helps <3
