I don't usually do this, but it just ticks me off every time I see it. Still, I'm too scared to confront people so I'll just say this:
People do bad things, they are bad people. You do bad things, you are a bad person. I do bad things, I am a bad person.
WE ARE ALL BAD PEOPLE
We all make mistakes, but we can learn from other's and our own mistakes to do better in the future. People do good things, you do good things, I do good things. We are good people. Good and bad are relative in that sense.
However, the point I'm trying to make is that something I hope you can all agree with me on is that prejudice and blaming someone for another's mistakes is bad. It's just wrong. Just because one person in a group or family or race or profession etcetera, etcetera does something bad, does NOT mean EVERYONE else related to them is bad, too!
STOP GROUPING PEOPLE TOGETHER! There are good and bad Christians, good and bad straight people, good and bad people in the lgbt community, good and bad cops, etc. Stop saying everybody is the same.
We all deserve to be treated based on our character. If we really do make bad decisions, those decisions shouldn't be supported. Overall, we should only be judged by our own good and bad decisions.
This was way longer than I intended, but it's just something that has been bothering me lately. There are things that have happened that people have every right to be angry about, but don't take that anger on people who had no part in it.
