Within My Heart is a short story taken from the book "My Secret Dream" 

Being older and never the wiser-with many life experiences to learn from behind me and many more to come, my time is here to document what is important in life. I was placed on this earth because of my love for children.  Come with me now, and join me on my journey from my beginnings as a foster mom to my life as it is now-a mom of two children with spina bifida.  

Hopefully my story can help those to accept the love, the joy, the hardships we can all overcome  as a parent of a special needs child.  Maybe these writings will help a mom who is carrying a special needs child to keep her baby. If so, our journey through my writing will mean all the more.

My Secret Dream.  This book was just completed on April 28th 2013.  In this book you can follow me though most trials and tribulations life has to offer from molestation as a child, living in a home of an alcoholic, early marriage and motherhood, adoption of special needs children , caring for a parent with Alzheimer's Disease and dealing with unruly siblings before and after her death.  Someone may be following a similar path in life as I had. May my personal story give you hope.

Annie
