Hey! I know I have been gone for a while. This has less to do with burnout and more to do with the simple and very human fact that I've sort of been changing as a person.
I still enjoy writing and I find myself getting very excited over the simplest details of a story I want to write, but in regards to the more smutty scenes, I find them daunting. Although I know many people enjoy them, I can't imagine writing something equivalent as the person I am now. I don't enjoy it anymore.
If you're still reading and you have some sort of investment in my stories (and thank you so much if you do) this does not mean I don't care about you. I've thought about deleting this account on many occasions just to be done with a part of my life I don't really connect with anymore, but I always reminded myself of the people who would be saddened by that.
The truth is I want to write. I've been some form of a writer for most of my life. I'm definitely not the best at it, but it's definitely something I enjoy doing. I just need to find out how to continue these stories in a way that everyone (including me) can enjoy. If you're tired of waiting, or you only want to read smut, then I'm very sorry. While I can't rule out the potential of smut in the future, I don't see myself being comfortable enough to do that on a chapter by chapter basis like in the past.
