          I'm sorry to say, I will no longer be posting here on Wattpad. There is so little engagement that it doesn't feel worth it for how incredibly much effort it is to reformat and make censorship decisions due to the more restrictive TOS.

          Here's the summary:
          
          On the way back to the police station after his lunch break, Dick stops to help a civilian. Which turns out to be the absolute worst mistake of his life and the beginning of the week from the deepest, darkest depths of hell.
          
          Dick has been through a lot in his life, a lot of terrible things, but somehow he always managed to make it through — somehow he always stubbornly clung on to hope and forged his way forward through life.
          
          He's not sure he's that person anymore.
          
          When Jason finally finds him and brings him home, it turns out the road to recovery is a long, tiring, and very rocky one. But it also turns out Dick maybe has a lot more help than he thought. And just possibly romance isn't completely out of the cards as much as he'd originally assumed.
