Does anyone have those like.. weird memories of some messed up dream you had at some point where it randomly comes to mind and fills you with a strange ineffable feeling of dread and you can’t even remember when you first experienced it or why? Or is that just me?

The Steve Saga Fandom on Tumblr has been really active lately. It’s nice to see.

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but not every fantasy or sci-fi story needs to be an allegory. 
          
          It’s okay to communicate the themes of your story in a more literal way. It’s okay to not even try to communicate some moral message or specific experience, and just use a story to communicate something more abstract like an emotion. It’s okay to just think to yourself “oh, wouldn’t this be messed up/funny/weird”, and then write it without trying to inject some greater meaning into it. Critics love allegories and symbolism because they’re so easy to intellectualize and tear into and discuss, but that is not the only valid thing to write about. This does NOT just apply to fanfiction.

I aspire to be like the plant impossibly  growing out of the crack in the sidewalk. Maybe it’s not an ideal situation and I would thrive better somewhere else with better resources, but I AM going to make the best out of it anyways.

Awhile back I think Matpat mentioned that his team was working on or thinking of working on a new intro for GTLive, and I just realized that that was probably foreshadowing for him leaving the channel. I’m not going to emotionally recover.

Gonna have to start giving myself real consequences for my actions. Like, oh, stayed up til 4 in the morning? Gotta wake up at 7 anyways. Can’t just turn off the alarm before I go to sleep because I feel like it. 
          
          If I lived a normal life and had external acountability then this would be the case anyways but I don’t have that so I gotta create it artificially.

If it turns out that Michael really is alive and survived the FFPS fire, and he actually is the M. Afton in the scapped AR emails, then that means that my terrible decision to make the FFPS Franchisee a different character in my old AU actaully somehow has aged like fine wine.
