          My eyes were clouded as I ran, unaware of where I was going. My socks had torn, and my white cotton dress hung in tatters, ripped across the shoulders. Yet, my only goal was to be free oh, to be away from him.
          
          I pushed myself to run faster, or at least tried to, as I whisked through the forest. Shafts of golden sunlight spilled through the canopy, piercing the mist and dancing in the air. The ground beneath my feet was soft and uneven, littered with roots and stones.
          
          Still, the question lingered in my mind will I ever be free? Deep down, I knew he was near. Watching. Waiting. Tracking my every move... just waiting for me to give up.
