We are so sorry about the long wait, but Task 2 is finally up! If anyone needs a longer deadline, please let us know. We are open to changing the date because of how long we took. Happy writing! :)

As most of you have noticed, we have posted a section of the story detailing the stolen painting The Lady of the Lake. Read up - there'll be a quiz. Just kidding. If there was a quiz, though, some of you might fail.
          I'm sure you're al anxiously awaiting task 1 and I am happy to report that it should be posted tomorrow morning, whenever a Gamemaker gets on. Be prepared! You won't have to wait much longer.
          Trust me, we are just as excited, if not more excited than you for these.

If you're on the fence about joining, this is your encouragement: it'll be a really fun games, with fierce competition and lenient deadlines so that you'll have all the time you need for tasks, and this will be a completely different experience than any other Author Games yet. I promise, you are unlikely to regret it.

           As many of you know, Josie, Emma and I were having a little contest, and whoever could get all of their forms turned in first, won. And who won you ask?The very best... Kira!!! *Applause* I'd like to thank all of my family, friends, my competitors, all of my FBI Agents, and my dog, Chewy ( Wait. I don't have a dog, much less a dog named Chewy) Thanks guys. Ya'll rock. For all of my FBI agents, what do you guys win...? Well... nothing, but you have my love forever :D
          
          Now, for those of you who haven't turned your forms in, please turn those in as quickly as you can, so we can start the games. The sooner you can get the forms in, the longer you'll have to write the first task. Many of you have extensions, so please use those wisely.

Also: There is now an open spot in Heist! If anyone is interesting in a spot in the Glendale Police Department, that is our only open spot at the moment! Get it before it is snatched up.

It's a brand new day, and a new day for you to turn in your forms for Heist! If you haven't already, here's some extra incentive - your lovely Gamemakers are holding a tiny contest that we've decided to let you all in on, because you could help us win. Whichever investigation factor/career path group (that's your job of either FBI, GPD, or PI) turns in all their forms first gets bragging rights! And possibly extra love from their department chair! And the winner gets to make fun of Emma and Kira-- I mean, whoever is going to lose! We don't really know yet (but come on, guys, PI for the win). Hope this is at least a little bit more encouragement! Everyone that reserved on the first day who does not have an extension and hasn't handed in yet has just over 9 hours to hand in.
