Hey guys,

I know it's been several months since I've been very active on here, and I definitely apologize for that. My summer job was nothing but 8-9 hours of very demanding, physical labour all summer, and it left me feeling more than exhausted and even messed up my back for a little while. As a result, I wasn't always in the mood for writing.

I'm trying to get back into it now (I'm even currently writing more of Tricking Death as we speak, so be excited for that!) but I'm a little rusty, and I'm also now having to try and figure out a good balance between writing, my art and maintaining a presence on dA, school, and whatever else that I could possibly have piled onto my plate. It has always been hard for me to write when I'm stressed, but strangely, drawing doesn't have the same issues... I can't quite figure it out, but I will sincerely try my best to find more of a balance. I'm so happy to see all of the new readership that I've gotten in the past couple months, and I am blown away that Demon Storm is almost at 10K reads, and Tricking Death is almost at about half that number!

Thanks so much for your continued support. Hopefully, I'll be able to better manage my time and keep seeing all of you around here for the next little while.

Good news everyone, the next chapter of Tricking Death is just about done. It should be posted later today, once I add a few more things to it. I hope you all enjoy, and hopefully I'll finally be able to get back into that whole "updating regularly" thing again.

Hey all,

Next chapter of Tricking Death has finally been written out. I apologize profusely for the wait, but it's nice and long (so hopefully that makes up for it a bit).

I'm trying my best to get some writing done when I have the time, but I can't always guarantee consistency with how things have been going for me recently. I hope you'll all continue reading and enjoying my work as I manage to keep writing it, since I have no plans on stopping permanently anytime soon.

If I don't manage to get the next chapter up before then, I hope you all enjoy your holidays!

Hey all,

This past month has been extremely rough on me, to say the least (and that's not just because it was the first month of university). Some very major things have happened, one in particular was extremely traumatic for me, and when I've had the motivation to write, I haven't had the time, or vice versa. And I apologize for that. The stories I have posted on here have never been far from my mind, and I've made sure to keep up with all of the thank you's for your kind words, follows, etc., as best as I could.

I managed to get a little bit done on the next chapter of Tricking Death this afternoon, and it's now sitting at around 450 words. It isn't much, but it definitely is more than I had done before. It also means that it's that much closer to being available for you guys to read.

I hope you all continue being so patient and that you enjoy the chapter when it is finished. I'm going to gradually try to make more of an attempt to fit some creative writing time into my schedule around school and my other commitments.

For those that are waiting, thank you for your patience. Hopefully you haven't given up on me updating just yet, or this message instills some hope in you all.

Emily and Death's story isn't finished yet, but it should be soon! Here's to piling more hope on top of hope that you'll enjoy it all when it does inevitably conclude.
