@Alecia_Stone In regards to the question you asked as to whether or not to showcase your work at this stage, I suppose it depends on your objective. A lot of people in the literary industry stop by my site so it's good to take that into consideration.
            
            I know some people like to read a book in its entirety instead of having to wait for updates, but for the author, having feedback along the way can be very beneficial and help shape ones work, especially if you haven't got the whole book planned out in your head. Sometimes a work can seem overwhelming, so bringing the readers in the early stage can help alleviate the constraints of writing a full length novel.
