#AntiHomophobes is a campaign by @sugarsicle supporting the LGBT community in INDIA. λλλλ
-Focussed on INDIA-
This campaign aims to promote the acceptance of homosexual people in INDIA. In INDIA, it's illegal to have sexual affairs or involve in sexual conducts with another individual of the same sex and it's punishable by law, with a ten-year imprisonment, under Section 377 of IPC.

 This has chained thousands of gay individuals and the queer folk to live a life of secrecy, guilt and depression. Hundreds who have come out are facing abuse and harassment along with public insults.

The society refuses to accept Homosexuality in terms of religious, cultural and philosophical taboos, forcing many Homosexual individuals to escape to foreign countries, to evade the tortures here.

We need to understand that, no matter what laws or legislations are made, it won't make their lives any better unless we the people of the INDIAN society start to accept their sexuality. 

This campaign is an initiative that focuses on that. It encourages and tries to implant the notion that 'Being gay is alright', in all the INDIAN people on Wattpad. So this begins with us, let us all be an Anti-Homophobe! Let us encourage all we can, to accept homosexuality! Let us help our INDIAN homosexual friends to come out of the closets, to a safer outside!! λλλλ
