I'm sorry for the delayed update, I know I've disappeared off the face of the earth. I had a callback last week that I traveled to Florida for and traveling through the storm was very stressful for me as flights were getting cancelled.
And then this week I of course got extremely sick and have been practically comatose since Sunday.
I'm hoping to update on Friday though, so keep your eyes open!

I think for we all knew that this was eventually going to happen. And to play devils advocate I can kinda sympathise with the others, it can’t be easy seeing someone who hasn’t been in the family that long compared to the rest of them get so much control over the rest of them, over some who have spent 60+ years putting in work.
It kinda reminds me of a scene from the crown, when Anne and Elizabeth talk about Diana and the unfairness of all their projects that they work every hard on not even get a mention instead all the press care about is what Diana is wearing.
Camilla was right The Queen will protect jac for as long as she’s alive she has so much respect and power no one would dare to make a move against jac, but we all know that’s not very long.
As much as it pains me to admit Jac can’t afford to alienate people, some of them still hold Great respect.
Jac should forget about Andrew and his family, yes that’s cruel but in this life it really is “survival of the fittest”, Eugene will never side with Jac and while Beatrice is more partial she won’t choose Jac over her own family.
Edwards and Sophie are a possibility, they have some popularity and seem to be the most level headed, and their kids are still teens so there both fresh out the gates, Jac could get them to her side, but neither seem that interested in royal drama and seem much happier to stay out of the lime light.
If I were Jac, I would go for Princess Anne, yes she would be the biggest challenge but potentially the biggest reward. She still holds a lot of respect from the pubic and could be said to be one of the strongest foundations for the family. She’s been round the block before with Diana. But I don’t think she will be swayed easily.
@Christmas2580 As for Mia and Jac, I love them because they really are mirrors in so many ways, but different in so many others. Imagine growing up looking exactly like your mother, who was ripped to shreds for years for how she looked, and on top of that you've got the ghost of your crazy popular dead grandmother somewhere in you too. I think, thankfully, she has a lot of William's personality in her, and that's kind of her saving grace. Although at the same time she's trying to grow up way too fast so... Double edged sword And then you have her grandparents, one who does something for love and one who could do something to benefit himself, but you are right it is totally something he would do. Jaclyn even thinks of all he did for his family in the chapter, even though it's horrible and horrifying
@Christmas2580 You're right that she needs people behind her, and I think Sophie and Anne are great options for their standing in the family. Sophie is always the one that's there for the family, she kind of feels like the glue, and Anne has probably at least known of Jackie the longest because Zara and her have been best friends since they were 16 I believe. I have a Balmoral plot coming up and it's going to be fun to explore all of these family dynamics. The dynamic between Camilla and Jac is a lot of fun because it's complex. They're family, and they care for and respect each other, but unlike most families they're also a business. Camilla has been made into the villain for so long, so I can understand getting into power and finally wanting to change that. How do you do that? You give the job to your PR team, and we've seen how messy these things can get. You just have to mention Mark Bolland and people shudder remembering what happened, and now we're seeing something similar play out with William and Kate where they're being made into these scapegoats from time to time. I.e. The Chelsy flower show where Kate "stole" attention away from the newly crowned king and queen
@Christmas2580 Oh my gosh that's crazy, I'm sorry I'm just now responding. I had a performance in a different state this weekend, so traveling and tech was crazy, and then I got home and the family was already there! But Merry Christmas to you and a happy new year! It was definitely going to happen, I've purposely slowed down the complete obsession because Jackie isn't Kate. Even after she married she's still this American woman finding her place in this crazy family, so it's only now that she's stuck it out and now that her style is becoming bolder, and now that her work is really starting to amp up and make an impact that people are like "Oh my God!" Thus promoting photographers and media outlets. There was always a level of intrigue because she was different, but now it is from a place of idolization I suppose. Rightfully so, people are going to be upset when she simply shows up and the cameras pan to her, and all anyone wants to talk about is what she's wearing. And the fact that it seems like she got to make this important decision is crazy to them, and kind of resented on both sides of the issue. Now in reality I don't think Jaclyn actually chose, I think the Queen knew what she was going to do and it was a test to see if Jac would pick the right option, but how do you tell people that? Plus, Jaclyn has always relied heavily on the higher ups in the family, but Philip is gone now and soon the Queen will be too and at the end of the day Charles and Camilla have themselves to think about. She needs allies in this family, and not just friends, especially as she becomes more prominent.
Hi I wanted to ask if in the future you will write other books, I really like the Royal Scandal and I love your writing so much it really is one of the few good royalty books that I have found on here

@diorbrxtz I might post the summary and prologue to see how it does... I get very excited about my stories, but this one especially has had a special place in my heart for a while. The main character uses flower language as a way of sending messages for the rebellion and all sorts of fun stuff. As for another royal mc I'm always open to the idea but after I finish this book and the sequel (which will be much shorter) I may take a break for a bit. However! The sequel will focus on the four kids and their romances and I want Alex's love interest to be a woc. As you pointed out I think it could be a very interesting dynamic to explore. No face claim in mind yet, but if you have one please share!
@Antoinette_II Oh okay, I’m very excited to see your finnick book when you upload it, there’s nothing much I would really like to see but would you be willing to write another royal fic but with another female mc, like maybe she be a POC it could be very interesting to see how she deals with the royal life and racism compared to Meghan
I think my mom and I have watched the Hunger Games at least three times this week while in the hospital and it's making me want to revive my Finnick fic...
I'm sorry everyone, the update will be out tomorrow instead of today. My family and I have spent most of our day in the hospital and I'm in no headspace to write right now.

@AriaYzobel Hi, and thank you! I honestly don't have an app where I find clothes. I used to use Polyvore back in the day but it got deleted and I've never found a good substitute. I have to look at a bunch of different brands for clothing and then I download what I like. I use a lot of Reiss, LK Bennett, Safiya, Jenny Packham and stuff like that. I then use PicsArt which has a great freestyle setting and I set the images up in my own little collage!
As I write songs of the day are Juno and Dress. Do with that what you will
