Last year or maybe two years ago I decided to rewrite one of my old stories "The Awakened Ones". It was originally about three best friends thrown into a world of spirits, astral projecting, and love. But from the moment I reread the story, I knew it was missing things. I needed a deeper background as to why the guy wanted to protect the main protagonist so much, and why he worked for the antagonist at some point. So that's when I set out to recreate the story and give that substance. I added a past life affect and some magic; and now I feel stuck. I've rewritten the first 100 pages over and over again - probably about ten times already - and can't figure out how I want things to work. This has been my most frustrating story yet, but I'm determined to finish it and make it the masterpiece I know it can be.
          
          Today I just wrote the beginning - again - giving you insight firsthand on how the girl Ava was given a new life to protect the most important thing her kingdom could ever have. So I'm still trucking through it even though I've wanted to junk it for the longest time. I need to get Ava and Harry's story out there because it's been building up in my head for so long.
          
          So all I can say now is stay tuned!
