I want to be honest with all of you about why I’ve been inactive for quite a long time.
The reason I haven’t been updating Ex of the Billionaire for months is because I’ve been contemplating whether I should change the direction of the entire story or simply continue editing it as it was originally written.
As some of you may know, Ex of the Billionaire is actually an almost-finished story I’ve been editing it little by little to make it more readable, cohesive, and enjoyable for you, guys. But while editing, I came across so many errors—and, more importantly, some serious issues within the story.
If you didn’t know, I actually started writing this story when I was only 13 years old. Back then, I was constantly reading different kinds of stories, and I ended up incorporating a lot of the things I encountered into my own writing because I thought they would make the story more exciting and enjoyable. But now that I’m older, I’ve come to realize that there are certain things in the story that carry more weight than I understood back then.
I know I could simply remove or change those parts. But the more I thought about it, the more I realized that doing so might affect the truth of the story and, ultimately, the entire plot. Some of those things are important to the story’s progression, and removing them completely would mean changing something that was originally meant to be there.
So, after a lot of thinking, I’ve decided that I’ll keep those parts of the story while carefully editing and rewriting them to make their context clearer and prevent them from being misunderstood.
I know it may take some time, but I want to do my best to give this story the proper ending it deserves. And I sincerely hope that you’ll continue to support this story despite my long absence.
