Guys!! I have a new project coming up it's going to be a book with a new plot design for me with an unexpected theme, it's going to have multiple protagonists, I already have the first one picked out, and I will add more. Though I'm incredibly excited, I'm gonna prewrite the first ten chapters before uploading and Walk won't be updated until I have more chapters in advance for it too

In Cruel in blue would Ao be a Shaman, I was doing research for one of my stories which is based in the universe of the Darkest Powers Trilogy and I read about a type of supernatural known as a Shaman who has a spiritual guide of the opposite gender known as an Ayami which would explain Sam because it explains how he is there without a form ----- wait Ima just paste the article cuz it's hard to explain

Ayami companion - A shaman has a constant spirit companion/guide called an ayami. This ayami is always of the opposite sex. Unlike a necromancer, who communicates with spirits in the ghost realm, an ayami is a different kind of spirit that is present in our own. An ayami is described as having "presence and substance, but no form. The shaman/ayami relationship is a lifelong bond and partnership. The ayami acts as a guardian angel, advisor, scout, and friend for the duration.
Astral projection - Shamans have the travel outside of the confines of their physical body, be it for fun or more practical endeavors.
Ayami sense - While a shaman can only communicate with his or her own ayami, they can often sense the presence of another.
          Healing - can heal wounds
