Hello friends! I'm Emma and I'm 16 years old and an aspiring author. I enjoy all kinds of writing but I mostly enjoy writing fiction, mystery, a little bit of horror, romance of any kind, a little fantasy and that's about it! 

I began my writing when I was in the 4th grade (about 10 y/o) because my teacher said she saw a lot of potential in my writing. So, I decided to keep writing. For years I never really could get a hold of a good idea  with my own characters and plot so in 7th grade, I was introduced to the wonderful yet terrifying world that is fan fiction. So for about 1 and 1/2 years that's all I wrote was fan fiction on a lovely little site called fan fiction.net. Well about the time I was in 8th grade, my friend introduced me to Nanowrimo! So my 8th and 9th grade years I did Nanowrimo. Oh how wonderful that was for me! But there was still that one problem with me--I never finished my stories because I didn't have a strong plot. 

Well just this year (2014), I was about to give up on writing when I got to meet the author that changed my whole perspective--Rick Riordan. Now, Rick Riordan had always been my favorite author because of his wonderful performance with the Percy Jackson series. Well upon meeting Rick, I was inspired with this little spark of hope that maybe I could be something like him. Now that I've been inspired by our dear Uncle Rick, I believe that I can be the author I want to be. My goal is to ultimately be a part-time author.

Some of my goals may be unrealistic right now, but I know I'm sure as hell going to try and get there!
