It’s been pointed out to me that everything that I write takes a dark turn, even poetry. So, I let the darkness take the story wherever it intends to go...things are much more interesting that way.

Fun fact: this story was written from a prompt that said, “A chef who’s afraid of spoons.” It could have went many different ways - but, of course my mind took the dark and twisted path...
