a small token of kindness (4th August 2021)
          
          as i see it, the sun, in all its glory, lives a life of thorns. the roses in its rays are not for itself and he has, in my impression, not even understood the power of its fragrance that comforts even the deeper earth. in the river that the sky is, most of its shine travels and goes off route. there is little for it to keep and collect within its memory.
          
          and to it, its splendour shades of spring are anything but a song of hope. 
          
          then the moon; oh how it has been loved, to the point of destruction.
          
          for i have come across many a man who have deliberately drowned into a pit of greater grief only to watch the moon glow a little more intensely. 
          
          as humans, we are aware, we are conscious; moreso of our flaws and the dirt we constantly seem to find upon ourselves. but what we cannot see apparent upon our skin is the heart and its tales. 
          because language requires words and words are butterflies; free to roam and a sin to cage.
          
          and so the heart is confined helplessly. 
          
          however, where ever you walk, your steps are warmer than many and they hold an explanation to every other beating heart there. your face has a rare form of life in it, as if you carry it for the world to memorise, and about this you are pitifully unmindful. 
          
          the very essence of a good heart is its ignorance, you do not understand. 
          
          similar is your tale to that of the sun's and the moon's. you may not know but you are a variant; you are blinded by the sky of love that lives upon you and the earth that lives below you and oh dear, you have seen it to the extent of having gone numb to it.
          
          your story, your reflection, your universe however, all cause a ripple through the darker places and the sidewalks you choose to stroll past with your gaze downcast and little are you aware that as you empty places- with your loss- there dooms upon them a sort of phantom ache.
