TPOT 20 was crazy last night. Me and my friend went together. I cosplayed as pin and he was leafy. It's was so fun talking to all the other object show fans there and taking photos with everyone. There was a X, 1, marker, Pencil and poka dot [ITFT] cosplayer that I became friends with. The marker cosplayer gave me two fanny Pin's, they were so sweet.

Who else is going to Tpot 20??? I'm going to the one in NV Henderson

I'm so happy right now words simply can't describe my pure elation towards my situation currently

          So I am scene and I enjoy making and wearing bracelets. I absolutely hate it when people will come up to me and without asking grab my arms and touch my bracelets. And then when I express my boundaries they have the audacity to side eye me or not let go. Like excuse me? First of all I don't know where your hands have been, second I don't know you except for a good morning, and third when is it ever ok to touch someone without consent? And the absolute worst part? This only happens at church. A place where you should feel protected and loved. I'm not religious but my parents are so every week I absolutely dread waking up early for old strangers to grab my arms and touch me. 
          Another thing I hate is when people say "bracelets are your whole personality". And mind you these are the same people who think the earth is flat and peaked in high school. I didn't know that wearing bracelets was a personality trait. And these are also the same people with basic white people outfits. 
          I hate it when I don't wear bracelets or not wear at least 30 and everyone I am acquaintances with freaks out and tells me to cover my arms. This isn't even about self harm even though I do struggle with it. My scars are basically hair thin and you can barely notice it unless your really looking. These simple minded people just hate when I dress like a normal person.
