I literally cannot believe it's been 11 years - I'm absolutely flabbergasted. I'm writing this as sort of a time capsule so that on the off chance that I completely forget about Wattpad or something but I return, I'll potentially see this message. This site was where a great deal of my love for reading web novels came from and that still hasn't changed. As a kid, this probably wasn't the best place to be reading anything, what with the crap ton of NSFW works here, but there were also plenty of other really good works that definitely would still hold up now.

As I look over my hidden drafts from my childhood as I stepped into my teenage years, I can't help but laugh at how elementary, and cringe I was. I remember trying to hit character, then word count, trying to be more eloquent or mature in writing - nothing more than a child's wish to grow up sooner. Of course, now, I've already experienced how a web novel can be extremely bloated, and honestly, nobody can take the crown of bloat from chinese novel writers - The Return of the Sword God, Ancient Godly Monarch...

Honestly, I can't help but regret a few things: not being able to at least publish a few more chapters of that Arcane Adventures fanfiction, and staying away from that very first fanfic I read when I discovered WattPad. Sad to say, but Arcane Adventures has been effectively discontinued, though Vetex still has an entire lore document out there somewhere. Another thing I kind of regret is not checking in more often and checking out the updates of works of some of the friends that I made while I was more active here.

One day, I'd like to spend some spare time and write some short stories perhaps.
