Hey guys, I'm back and we need to talk. I know this story is meant to be about me but I can't just pretend all this isn't happening. I said before that I hated my life, I regret that so much. Yes I don't have the perfect life but so many people are out there suffering while we live in a bubble. So many of our everyday items cost us good prices but cost families making them heartache and pain. People everywhere are starving, having no chance in life and being treated as though they were dirt. We can't stand by, something has to be done, we can't let so many people out there suffer while we live a life of ease.
That's why we need to fight back. Words are a good start so for now we need to tell people about this. Something as simple as a chocolate bar is hurting so many people. The workers in those factories get thirty to hundred dollars a year in these places. The same thing with our clothes, and its not just the pay, they work in incredibly unsafe work conditions everyday. You're probably thinking, "well, I still want those things." Of course you do, we can't live without them, but there is a better way. At Fair Trade companies, workers are paid fairly and work in safe work conditions. Its only a small bit more. I don't expect you all to join me in this but please help me fight it.
