Don't you just hate it when you have an adhesive allergy and can't use bandaids? And then you need to tape your shoulder during basketball games to help prevent injuries? And the tape irritates your skin so that it's itchy for the next few days? And then you have another game before it is completely healed and it hurts worse
          Because yeah I absolutely hate that.

I have so many stories I want to read but not many of them exist, so now I want to write them but I don't have time to write them because I am currently working on 3 other books. 
          Anyone know any good stories about dreaming?

I just finished the Ascendance series by Jennifer Nielsen and let's just say it destroyed me. It's a middle grade series but it's so emotional. a lot of those emotions are frustration but I loved most of the characters and liked the ones I didn't love. I would definitely recommend it if you haven't read it.

PSA for Americans: PRAY FOR OUR NATION YALL!! The election counting has stalled again like it did in the 2020 election just before a bunch of new ballots came in. We need to pray that this election stays fair and that whichever candidate wins does so without cheating. I know this won't reach many people, but to those that see this, PRAY!!!!

I finally started listening to Epic: the Musical and I am in love. This is amazing. I absolutely love it so far!!

y'all i'm ready for Christmas stuff. I need it to be cooler outside and all the Christmas lights to be on and maybe a few not annoying Christmas songs

Story Time:
          
          Today, my mom was at the store, so it was just me and my sister at home. I was in my room and needed something, but when I went to get it, I smelled something weird. I had my sister come and sniff the air to see if she smelled it too. she did, so we went around and checked to make sure nothing was actively on fire. After we determined that we called mom and she said to check the AC unit and the outlets and the stove. We checked everything again. when she got home she called Gramma who said to call the fire department. The Fire department came and had two trucks for some reason (we called non emergency so it didn't make sense) There was like 20 guys (slight exaggeration) walking around our house with different equipment to see if there was anything. They found like traces of natural gas so we had to call the gas people. The fire department left after telling us that we needed to replace our fire alarms and we waited a while for the gas people. When they finally showed up, the dude driving the car recognized my mom from when she called something in last winter (that was awkward). They walked around the house with their electric noses and determined that nothing was wrong. So they left and mom went to get a replacement carbon monoxide detector (ours was broken).  so, that was my afternoon. Fun, right?
