Tada!! Another book recommendation, guys! ✨
I finished this book yesterday, and trust me—the last few chapters are binge-worthy!
I love stories with realistically flawed female leads, and Naina's journey completely pulled me in. After a heartbreaking breakup with her boyfriend of seven years, Advik—a toxic, controlling, body-shaming man who destroyed her confidence and isolated her from her friends—Naina decides to move on and marry Zayne, a complete green flag who has loved and respected her from the very beginning.
But does marrying a good man automatically heal old wounds? Can Naina truly let go of Advik when his memories still haunt her? How does she balance her past and present?
What I appreciated most was how the book explored mental health. Instead of simply labeling Advik as an abuser, the author examines the tragic past that shaped him. Every action in the present is rooted in something deeper, and I especially loved the chapter where Naina dissects his past.
The author also ends every chapter with reminders about self-worth and healing, which added a beautiful touch. This is Naina's story of rebuilding herself, regaining her faith, and learning to heal.
This book shouldn't be judged by its first few chapters. Its real strength lies in the complete journey and how it ends. Readers who dropped it early missed the core of the story—a powerful journey of self-healing and a realistic portrayal of mental health. ❤️

Yesterday wasn’t a very good day for me, and strangely enough, it was because of my writing.
A book reviewer on Instagram posted a reel about Rakshasi 2, and it turned into public trolling. He described it as “a slightly better version of an Ekta Kapoor serial,” and the comment section joined in with jokes and mockery.

The hardest part is that this was a paid collaboration. I had paid a hefty amount, along with the book charges, for an honest review. I accepted it with a heavy heart because I genuinely wanted frank feedback. What I wasn’t prepared for was feeling mocked and insulted instead. That night, I genuinely lost sleep wondering if I had made a mistake by paying someone to read my work.

What makes this situation ironic is that I booked this review almost eight months ago, back when I had no real audience on Wattpad. Today, I’m lucky enough to have immense support and a steady readership that even follows my Kindle works.

And honestly, I do accept that Rakshasi 2 is not my best work. It needs editing, corrections, and polishing. There are typos, pacing issues, and flaws that I can openly acknowledge. I also know that I genuinely enjoy writing dramatic “daily soap saga” type stories — and honestly, they’re fun for me to write.

But amidst all the negativity, something beautiful happened. My Wattpad gang showed up for me.

So this is not a rant post.

This is a thank you post.

To every girl who stood up for me, supported me, comforted me, and reminded me that I’m not as terrible as I was made to feel — thank you.

My delulu mind genuinely believed it was a masterpiece at the time — but looking back now, I can see where it fell short. And that’s okay. Growth is part of being a writer.

I also had a candid conversation with the reviewer afterward. He offered to delete the review and refund my money, but I refused. I told him to keep both, because not everyone has to love my work — but there’s still a difference between honest criticism and disrespect.

@ArchuArchie I understand how frustrating and unfair it feels. But please don't let it get you down! You are incredibly talented at what you do, and your track record speaks for itself. One bad day or one difficult person doesn’t define your amazing work. You’re a rockstar!" Believe in your genuine audience and yourself!!
