I actually intend for the Bus driver and handyman to be side characters. That's the 1st and last time they would appear in the story. Thanks for the feedback. Yours is good. I love how you have started at the climax, making the reader question if the bride intended for the wedding to happen. The vivid description is  superb

@emmanuelwrites57 Just finished it! The opening instantly puts the reader in the moment, hearing the radio stations change. You're introducing several characters (handyman, coach driver, Becky, the lady in her mid-fifties, and it's a bit hard to follow each one. Maybe give them a bit more breathing room or description, so the reader can better appreciate the different characters in the story.
