Hello everyone, 
          
          I’m really sorry for the long hiatus. These past few months have been… a lot. I’ve been busy with a major writing project earlier this year (some of you might catch the hints especially if you recognize a certain matcha-latte colored lady), and working with game development has honestly drained a lot of my creative energy lots of reading, revising, and even retconning along the way.
          
          At the same time, I went through something personal, my cat crossed the rainbow bridge, and it hit me harder than I expected. Combined with burnout from work, I had to step away from writing for a while. Thankfully, my writing colleagues helped me get through that phase.
          
          Because of all that, I haven’t touched this story in quite some time… but I’m finally finding my way back. I’ll be rereading the last 20 chapters to get back into the flow, and...
          
          ✨ I’m planning to resume weekly updates until we reach the end of the final act. 
          
          Thank you so much for your patience, and for staying with me despite the silence. It really means a lot.

Sorry for the quiet, everyone. 
          
          I got pulled into real-world writing work, and on top of that, my cat’s been quite ill, so things have been a little overwhelming lately.
          
          I really want to finish the remaining 10-15 chapters, but life and workload have been piling up. I’ll publish again once things calm down a bit and I can give the story the focus it deserves.

          So… my partner’s currently obsessed with Ye Shunguang—I’m low-key jealous he’s forgotten all about Captain Zhu since Yixuan and Lucia dropped in 2.0!

          Anyway—good news! A new chapter is dropping mid-week.
          
          Since we’re on Christmas break, I’m all geared up to finish the final act before the 2.5 update rolls in. wink wink
