TikTok. TikTok, TikTok, TikTok…this app. This app is the one thing I love. This app gave me friends. This app gave me a girlfriend. This app gave me love. this app gave me a family. this app gave me a reason to continue…this app made me love music again and continue my passion for editing. This app is not just an app. It’s a gateway to escape reality for a while. Sometimes you just needed to decompress and TikTok did that for you. Sometimes you just needed to smile or laugh…TikTok did that for you too. There was so much that TikTok did for us and now we’re just throwing it all away. And why? You may ask. All because it is a Chinese app and because we can’t grow up and get over the fact that the Chinese government runs the app. Why is this app just now getting banned? Why not ban it years ago when you said you were going to? Why?….why?, why?, why? Why take the thing millions of people love? Why take the only thing that makes us happy? Why take the one thing that gives us a good community? We have banned TikTok as of January 19, 2025. Trump gets in office January 20, 2025. A day before trump is officially in office. There were people trying to postpone the ban and extend the deadline but they would budge. They needed to ban the app before trump was in office. I pray to god that trump reinstates TikTok and we can use it again. Trump if you can hear me….please.
          

TikTok is gone. Last night I watch the app go dark and before I closed out of it I watched most accounts become unavailable to view. i watched my last ever TikTok edit of Ari Abdul, I watched Ari and Ella’s last TikTok live and viewed CapCut for the last time too. I feel like part of me is missing and it’s not because of the app but the communities we have created on the app. I already miss waking up in the morning and seeing tons of notifications from people I followed and I’m going to miss even more Ari Abdul and Ella Boh’s lives on TikTok.

guys...my girlfriend is so perfect. There's no one I would rather have in my life than her. She literally keeps me sane and alive. She's the definition of perfection. Tomorrow marks out 4 months.
