Annalise is a compete jerk who always worked for Gaea from the very beginning, and wasn't even a demigod. She was a daughter of Hypnos who went to the dark side,m because she hated her father and her brothers and her lameness, and was blessed with control over nature magic. She wasn't even a daughter of Athena, just planted there in order to destroy Annabeth mentally and get rid of her.
