It's okay to make mistakes, but you do need to make them right. 
Don't beat yourself up about it. 
Sometimes good hearts choose poor methods, and that's completely fine. Apologise. Learn. Move on. 

Never doubt yourself <3 I believe in you and I believe you can achieve anything you set your mind to. Hardwork beats talent when talent doesn't work hard. 

Lastly, I know your day might not have been good. But was it all bad? Isn't there any one thing you can think about that was good in the day? Focus on that. And be happy. Live in the present. Forget the past, and whatever plans you have for the future, implement them now.
