Hi @Arteboy1! I've read the two chapters of your story, and I became really invested in it! I hope you enjoy being a fanfic writer! Also, don't worry, I'm about to finish high school as well, so I know how that feels. I wish you the best and good luck with writing your first-ever fanfic. Although I have been writing fanfic for the past two years and have written two fanfics, and I am also planning to write an MHA x ATLA crossover, where Izuku would end up with Katara, I can't say I'm a good writer. But I'm happy to help you with writing your story. As for who Izuku should end up with, both Katara and Azula are good choices. While Katara is motherly, kind, and can kick ass, and she would see the kindness in Izuku, resulting in her eventually falling for him, Azula would be an interesting choice storywise because how he would affect her and possibly save her from the fate she had in the main show. So, if you want to explore her redemption and her eventual relationship with Izuku, I would recommend Azula, but it's your choice, not mine. However, when it comes to romance, I can give you this advice: DON'T BUTCHER THE ROMANCE!!! Don't write dialogues where the girl Izuku would be paired with thinks that he's very hot, then blushes intensely. That takes the reader out of the story very fast. The romance has to be subtle. Have them interact with each other and experience events with each other, thus giving them a chance to get to know each other better before they fall in love.

@Arteboy1 Is very lazy, but altho this I think that a good romance still needs some physique atractiveness because as in real life, we as humans are in many times attracted to someone due to her/his shape/physique but it does't need to sustain only and not even primarly on that idea, I was planning on first making the story more or less similar to the ATLA story only with the change of Izuku being there, coming with some changes in the story and some added challenges, then in some time Iroh would explaining Izuku about Azula's and Zuko's past and that would inspire and determine him to save them both. Throughout the story ending of book 2 and all book 3 Izuku would try to attract both Zuko and Azula to the "good side" (Zuko would join at the middle of book 3) and at the end of book 3 instead of Zuko and Katara fighiting Azula, it would've been Zuko and Izuku trying to convince Azula of chaning sides (specially Izuku, since he was the one doing this since the beginning) they would first defeat Azula and then as time passes after the fall of Ozai Azula would change of side and also feel an interest towards Izuku, due to all what he has done for her, his comprehension, his determination, etc, all meanwhile they are knowing each other.

@Macsek69 Hi Macsek, Sorry for responding you like 3 months later, I started this fanfic because I really loved hearing MHA x ATLA fanfics on youtube but sad because of the decadent amount of MHA x ATLA fanfics there are (at least on youtube) so that's why I started it. At first I thought it was gonna be easy to write a fanfic like not easy but easier than I thought it would. I was disapointed when I realised the amount of effort and time it requires to write a real fanfic not made by AI like many people do nowadays. I discontinued it with the hope of some day resume the writing but I lacked and still do of having the effort this requires. Back then when I never started with this I thought wriitng fanfics was easy considering the amount of fanfics there are on the internet and also considering that some fanfics even last up to like 10 hours (crazy). Now I really value the work these writers dedicate to their peices and now a feel like I value them more knowing what it takes to make them. Also I wanted to write one knowing that many fail in the story writing, many fanfic writers sometime make stupid plot twists with no sense or change in the characters' behaviors that don't match with them or lack of evidence for a reasoning on the change. As well as you, I'm not a good writer, specially because I'm from Argentina and english is my second language so I find it harder to write but I wanted it to be on english because it would attract more people and I am in a bilingual high school so it would also help me practice my writing in english. As you said, I also found very interesting the choice of making Azula Izuku's ship considering Izuku's willingness on saving anyone no matter who they are, what they done, etc. It was my primary choice but also like the idea of maybe Katara being his ship. As you said, I wasn't planing on making butchering the romance. Many fanfics fail on achieving a good romance with a "love at first sight". I think the idea of using this....
