We are all in such a rush that we forget the ticking clock, we forget that how with this rushing time, we are little by little loosing the chance of spending time with our loved ones. That math teacher whose class you hate and bunk, who knows how long he is going to continue teaching, that annoying sibling of yours who makes your each day a roller coaster, will soon leave, that one person who has been putting time and efforts for you, who knows how long they'll be there. Work is what you have to do your entire life, in order to survive but these people, who knows when they'll be breathing their last. So, let them know how much you love them, even if they already know, remind them of it because you never know of its the last time you will get to say that to them. So, indulge into spending some time with those loved ones, with those people who have been waiting so long for you in the background, start appreciating the time and efforts someone is putting in for you, start valuing them before its too late. Because in a world where people are busy figuring themselves out if you have someone who is waiting for you while you figure yourself out, they are worth everything.
"Tick tock...tick tock
Life is counting down on your internal clock.
Memories that feel as if they occurred yesterday
turn to flashes of moments that seem to fade away.
People you once knew
walk by without a clue.
The times you once shared
exist as if you were never there.
Years fly...friends die...
and you never know when you'll say your last goodbye.
Oh, how I wish I could turn back time,
spend it with loved ones and cherish what once was mine.
Or to go back even more,
being a kid in a candy store.
How I miss the way I used to feel
on Christmas day when Santa was real.
But back to reality...back to today,
family is scarce and memories continue to fade away.
Tick tock...tick tock...
How I wish I could control this clock."
